<p>1 ABSTRACT The present invention concerns a method and device for recovering hydrocarbons from a sludge. The flow being formed from at least two partial flows, a quantity of salt predetermined by volume of treated sludge is added to these flows continuously or in batches, the two flows are projected onto one another in a closed chamber having a small volume, simultaneously injecting air at a flow rate d, a mixture of foam, water and suspended matter is recovered in the upper portion of the chamber, the mixture is then left to settle to separate, by decantation, the suspended matter and the supernatant foam created in this way, loaded with hydrocarbons, and the foam is recovered by liquefying it with an additive, to obtain a supernatant of concentrated hydrocarbons separated from the liquid and from the solid matter by continuously withdrawing the liquid portion.
