The present invention relates to a liquid crystal display and, more specifically, to a liquid crystal display improving properties upon penetration ratio and viewing angle. The liquid crystal display according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises a first pixel including a first liquid crystal molecule oriented in roughly first direction; a second pixel including a second liquid crystal molecule oriented in the second direction different from the first direction; a first lower polarizer facing the first pixel, and having a penetration axis almost parallel to the first direction; and a second lower polarizer facing the second pixel, and having a penetration axis almost parallel to the second direction.
