The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus of controlling call sessions in an Internet multimedia subsystem (IMS). More specifically, the present invention relates to a method in which, when connection to an IPv6 network is impossible due to failure to the IPv6 network, proxy call session control function (P-CSCF) server sends an error message to a terminal and deletes subscriber information in the IPv6 network to enable the terminal to reconnect via a IPv4 network, wherein the terminal can use the IPv4 network after the same receives, from a home subscriber server (HSS), a message to reconnect to the IPv4 network, has an IPv4 address assigned, and registers to an IMS. |
