The present invention relates to a biaxially stretched polybutylene terephthalate film which is characterized in that: the film is formed of a polyester resin composition that contains, for example, 60% by mass or more of a polybutylene terephthalate; the tan d peak as determined by dynamic viscoelasticity measurement at a measurement frequency of 10 Hz is within the range from 60°C to 100°C (inclusive) both in the MD direction and in the TD direction; and the tan d peak value is within the range from 0.080 to 0.15 both in the MD direction and in the TD direction. A biaxially stretched polybutylene terephthalate film according to the present invention is especially suitable for use as a converting film, a film for food packaging such as retort pouch packaging or liquid packaging, a film for drawing and the like. |
