The present invention relates to a fully drawn yarn of poly ethylene terephthalate, which has good strength and form stability and accordingly plays a cord for body flying, in particular, as a tire cord wherein the fully drawn yarn of poly ethylene terephthalate is treated at 180 degree Celsius under 0.02g/d of a primary load for two minutes with use of heat and has the value of L/S which is described as a formula is not less than 1.5 Kg/%.
