PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing system capable of reducing a communication load on a network, in preview display at a time of direct print.SOLUTION: A printing system comprises a printer and a terminal device. The terminal device is provided so as to be able to communicate with the printer, and transmits a job related to print processing to a file that can be supported by the printer. The terminal device includes: determination means for determining whether or not a print preview can be displayed on a display unit included in the printer; and transmission means for transmitting a print job including an instruction on a print preview to the printer according to an instruction if the determination means has determined the print preview can be displayed on the display unit included in the printer. The printer displays the print preview according to the print job including the instruction on the print preview transmitted by the terminal device on the display unit. |
