1. An organic light-emitting diode (OLED) display, comprising:
a substrate including a display region and a peripheral region; a switching element formed over the substrate, wherein the switching element includes an active layer, a gate insulating layer, a gate electrode, an insulating interlayer, a first electrode, and a second electrode; a first insulating layer formed over the switching element; a first auxiliary electrode formed over one region of the first insulating layer that substantially overlaps the peripheral region; a second insulating layer formed over the first insulating layer; an anode electrode formed over a first region of the second insulating layer that substantially overlaps the display region, wherein the anode electrode is electrically connected to the first electrode of the switching element via a first opening; a protecting electrode formed apart from the anode electrode on a second region of the second insulating layer that substantially overlaps the peripheral region, wherein the protecting electrode is electrically connected to the first auxiliary electrode via a second opening; a pixel defining layer formed over the second insulating layer, wherein the pixel defining layer separates the display region and the peripheral region; an emission layer formed over the anode electrode; and a cathode electrode formed over the protecting electrode, the pixel defining layer, and the emission layer. |
