<p>Provided is a method whereby a raw mineral ore to be processed into a saleable product ore by an existing or new beneficiation plant that involves mechanical screening devices can be processed at substantially increased throughput rates, typically at least 25% higher than that achieved by previous embodiments, without compromising yield or product quality. This is achieved with a beneficiation process design that fully accesses the potential performance of two mass screens configured to deliver the potential overall process throughput gains available from carefully considered integrated systemic design. A new embodiment of a higher overall relative throughput plant occupies a smaller space and has a lesser need for the elevation of mined ore than previously achievable at the nominated throughput leading to capital and operational cost savings. A retrofit step change throughput increase plant embodiment will experience a proportionate or better improvement to productivity and have a short payback period.</p> |
