PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform printing in an appropriate method when using an ultraviolet curable ink in an inkjet printer.SOLUTION: A printing device comprises a head unit for discharging an ink drop of an ultraviolet curable ink to a medium, and a control unit. The head unit performs main scan operation corresponding to each of printing paths of predetermined N times (N is an integer of 3 or greater) to a same area in the medium by a multipass system. The control unit sets densities of printing performed at printing paths of the last k times (k is an integer of 1 or greater and less than N) to be lower than a density of printing performed at a printing path of the (N-k)th, and in a nozzle array of the head unit, sets a density of printing performed by each of a plurality of nozzles discharging the ink drop for a printing path of (N-k+1)th of the nozzle array of the head unit to be gradually lower toward a head rear end side. |
