The subject of the present invention relates to a rolling mill (100) comprising: a rolling mill cage (10) including a plurality of rolls, namely two working rolls (12) and two pairs of intermediate rolls (13), - a main gate (30) on the front façade of the rolling mill (100) for accessing the set of rolls, - a device (20) for laterally displacing the intermediate rolls (13), of the push-push type comprising a first and a second pair of hydraulic cylinders (22, 22', 21, 21') that are each configured to exert a pushing force (P) so as to laterally displace the intermediate rolls (13), - a removable hatch (40) fixed to the main gate (30), allowing access to the rolls (12) and (13) and incorporating the second pair of hydraulic cylinders (21, 21') such that the opening and the closing of the gate (40) do not impede the opening and the closing of the main gate (30). |
