<p>A quick release pool skimmer basket apparatus (10) includes a basket (11) having a sidewall (12), a filter element (13) coupled to the sidewall (12) to move between an open position and a closed position, and a handle (14) extending upwardly from the basket (11). A trigger (16) in the handle (14) is operatively coupled to the filter element (13) to hold the filter element (13) in the closed position. Activation of the trigger (16) releases the filter element (13) from the closed position to the open position.</p> |
