PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the time to write signals in a pixel in a display device, and quickly perform the writing-in of signals even when a high voltage is applied to the display device.SOLUTION: There is provided a display device that has a pixel provided with a transistor, and a liquid crystal element electrically connected with a source or a drain of the transistor, where the transistor is formed of an intrinsic or substantially intrinsic oxide semiconductor as semiconductor material and has an off current of 1×10A/μm or less, and the pixel is not provided with a capacitive element. With no need to provide a capacitive element, the time to write signals in the pixel can be reduced. |
