The present invention relates to a portable generator (1), wherein gears formed integrally with a plurality of generators are interlocked with a main gear that rotates around an axis; and wherein as the main gear rotates the plurality of generators generate electricity and a battery is charged. The generator can thereby be used effectively as an emergency power supply or for leisure activities such as night hiking, camping or fishing. The portable generator (1) comprises: a main body (100') having a battery (600) fixedly installed on an internal floor surface of the main body by a battery fixing unit (610), AC input/output terminals (140 and 141), a DC input terminal (150), an AC output switch (SW1), a conversion switch (SW2), a power switch (160) and a charge display lamp (LP) installed in the rear of the main body, a lamp (200) foldable by a hinge (P) installed in the front of the main body, and a control unit (700) for controlling the same; a gear box (900) installed in an upper end of the battery (600) inside the main body (100') and that is rotated by an external rotation handle (300); and a small-sized generator (500) that generates electricity by torque of the gear box (900). |
