Provided is a control device for a rotary machine, the rotary machine being provided with a power feeding unit which feeds power corresponding to a power feeding command to the rotary machine, a rotating state detection unit which detects a rotating state of the rotary machine, a torque detection unit which detects output torque outputted by the rotary machine, an abnormality detection unit which detects an abnormality in the rotating state detection unit or the torque detection unit, and a vibration command generation unit which generates a vibration command to vibrate the rotary machine, wherein the power feeding command is generated on the basis of at least the vibration command, and the abnormality determination unit determines the abnormality in the detection unit on the basis of the response of the rotating state and the response of the output torque to the vibration command. |
