The method mainly includes providing a trestle fixed connected with the cabin and a guide rail arranged along the elevator shaft and a anti-falling unit; providing the anti-falling unit with a firt gear, a 5 second gear, a trolley wheel, a connecting rod, a ealstic component and a supporting shaft; mounting the triggering unit on the trestle; freely rotatably mounting the trolley wheel on the trestle by the supporting shaft; arranging the guide rail between the first gear and the trolley wheel; arranging for the first gear to engage with the gear 10 surface of the guide rail; arranging for the trolley wheel to roll on the smooth surface of the guide rail, arranging for the connecting rod to make the second gear revolve around the axis of the first gear and engage with the first gear; providing the connecting rod with a triggering bore pluggably matting with the triggering end; when the 15 triggering end withdraw from the triggering bore, arranging for the elastic force to make the second gear engage with the guide rail, at this momnent, the mechanism has zero freedom degree, the elevator can not move downward so as to achieve the anti-falling function of the elevator.
