<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a treatment of removing easily a fixing member for fixing the rubber core 2 and the braid 3 so as to prevent untying of the braid 3 around an adhered part during cutting, in a method of producing a rubber core-provided braid ring 5 by cutting, to a specified length, a freely stretchable long rubber core-provided braid 1 consisting of a rubber core 2 and a braid 3 covering the rubber core 2 and adhering both cut ends 1a and 1b together with an adhesive 4.SOLUTION: A melt of a wax-like material 6 which has a water solubility and a melting point equal to or lower than the boiling point of water and solidifies at room temperature is adhered to at least the periphery of a cutting position X of a rubber core-provided braid 1 and solidified; the cutting position X is cut; cut ends are adhered together with an adhesive 4 to form a rubber core-provided braid ring 5; and the wax-like material at least in parts of the rubber core-provided braid ring 5 adhered with the wax-like material is molten by using warm water of a temperature equal to or higher than the melting point of the wax-like material 6 so as to separate the wax-like material from the rubber core-provided braid ring 5.</p> |
