<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrochromic device excellent in durability and capable of operating stably.SOLUTION: An electrochromic device 10 comprises: a first electrode layer 12; a first electroactive layer in contact with the frist electrode layer; a second electrode layer 15 opposite to the first electrode layer and having a through hole formed therein; a second porous electroactive layer in contact with the second electrode layer; and electrolyte embedded between the first electrode layer and the second electrode layer, and in contact with the first electroactive layer and the second electroactive layer. At least one of the first electroactive layer and the second electroactive layer is an electrochromic layer 13, and the other is either one of the electrochromic layer or a deterioration prevention layer. The first electrode layer and the second electrode layer respectively have inner surfaces facing each other and outer surfaces opposite the inner surfaces. The first electrode layer has a support on the outer surface, and the second electrode layer has at least an inorganic protective layer made of an inorganic material on the outer surface.</p> |
