The invention relates to a method for breaking free a wet clutch of a motor vehicle at low temperatures, wherein the wet clutch transmits a rotary motion of an internal combustion engine via a transmission, preferably a dual clutch transmission, to a power take-off of the motor vehicle, wherein at low temperatures a cold start of the internal combustion engine is carried out.
