<p>Abstract A load transferring assembly comprising at least one load transferring unit, each load transferring unit comprising: an extendible stabiliser leg assembly pivotably mountable directly or indirectly to a load transporting vehicle and having a distal end configured to rest on a 5 supporting surface; a jib assembly pivotably mountable directly or indirectly to the load transporting vehicle at a jib assembly mounting point; and jib actuator means for rotating the jib assembly about the jib assembly mounting point, wherein the jib assembly comprises an extendable boom and an attachment means to attach the boom to a load to be transferred, and wherein the stabiliser leg and the jib assembly are pivotably mounted around horizontal axes.</p> |
