<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding apparatus by which it is possible to bring a frame located around a mold into close contact with a thermoplastic resin extruded from an extruding machine in a sheet form. <P>SOLUTION: In the molding apparatus (1), a thermoplastic resin (P) extruded from an extruding machine (12) in a sheet form is vacuum-sucked onto a cavity (116) of a mold (32), and the thermoplastic resin (P) is shaped into a shape according to the cavity (116). The molding apparatus includes a frame (33) that is positioned around the mold (32) and is movable relative to the mold (32).
