<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a railroad vehicle body structure in which a gutter does not project outwardly in a vehicle width direction from the outer plate of a side structure, and the appearance of the railroad vehicle can be improved.SOLUTION: A railroad vehicle body structure 1 includes a pair of lateral body structures 10 which constitute a lateral surface and a roof body structure 20 which constitutes a roof. The lateral body structure 10 has a lateral outer plate 11 rising up nearly vertically and a beam member 12 attached a predetermined dimension below the top of a lateral outer plate 11, and the lateral outer plate 11 and the beam member 12 form a gutter mounting part 16. A roof body structure 20 has a roof outer plate 21, and a gutter 22 is formed which has a horizontal part 22a extending nearly horizontally by bending both ends of the roof shell 21 in the vehicle width direction and a vertical part 22b which rises up nearly vertically from the horizontal part 22a. In a state, where the gutter 22 of the roof body structure 20 is laid on the gutter mounting part 16 of the lateral body structure 10, the lateral body structure 10 and the roof body structure 20 are combined by fastening the lateral outer plate 11 and the vertical part 22b of the gutter 22 by the spot welding W.</p> |
