A method and apparatus for estimating state of battery are provided to, even if a voltage drop occurs due to a momentary rapid change of electric current of a battery that is charged or discharged, estimate the life state of battery within a relatively small error range. The method is provided by comprising the steps of: measuring the electric current addition volume of battery that is charged or discharged and the voltage change volume remaining in the battery within a previously set time interval; and estimating the life state of battery by using the electric current addition volume and the voltage change volume. |
