<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute a brake control device for stabilizing a vehicle in brake operation, even when a clearance between a brake drum and a brake shoe of right-left brake devices is different. <P>SOLUTION: A clearance lateral difference acquiring means 34 acquires a clearance value CLE corresponding to a lateral difference in a clearance of the right-left brake devices from a yaw rate when stopping by brake operation by a driver in a straightly advancing state, and a storage means 35 stores the value. Next, a threshold value setting means 36 sets a threshold value for starting automatic operation of the brake devices from the clearance value CLE.
