<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation detection panel which reduces the level of reflection of light in the surface direction emitted in the fluorescent material of a scintillator, capable of producing radiographic images with high sensitivity and high sharpness. <P>SOLUTION: A radiation detection panel 3 comprises an element substrate 4 having a surface 4a with a plurality of two-dimensionally arranged photoelectric transducers 15 on which a planarizing layer 21 is formed, and a scintillator substrate 5 having a surface 5a on which a scintillator 6 is formed of a columnar crystal of fluorescent material 6a to transduce radiation into light to irradiate the photoelectric transducer 15. The element substrate 4 and the scintillator substrate 5 are bonded such that the tip Pa of the columnar crystal of the fluorescent material 6a of the scintillator 6 is directed to the planarizing layer 21. An optical compensation layer 23 is formed between the tip Pa of the columnar crystal of the fluorescent material 6a of the scintillator 6 and the planarizing layer 21, having a refraction index n<SB POS="POST">23</SB>equal to or larger than the smaller one of the refraction index n<SB POS="POST">6a</SB>of the fluorescent material 6a and the refraction index n<SB POS="POST">21</SB>of the planarizing layer 21, and equal to or smaller than the larger one. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
