An air conditioning module 100 is sealed to an inlet 214 and an outlet aperture 212 of a sound isolation enclosure 200 installed within a room 300 and provides cool air to the enclosure. The module comprises a sound insulated casing 101 having a sound insulated divider 102 dividing the casing into a first air chamber 110 and a second air chamber 120. A first air circulation means 116 (fan) moves air through the first chamber and a second air circulation means 126 (fan) moves air through the second chamber. The first chamber includes an inlet connector 112 and an outlet connector 114 sealed to the inlet and outlet apertures of the enclosure. The first chamber provides a fluid path between the inlet and outlet connector. The second chamber includes an intake 122 and an exhaust 124 in communication with the room and the second chamber provides a fluid path between the intake and exhaust. A heat exchanger 130 is arranged within the first and second chambers and may comprise of a condenser 132 and evaporator 134. The chambers may be elongate. The casing may be split and moved from a stowed to installed position (fig 4). |
