<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved novel display device capable of preventing viewing by a child at a position inappropriate for viewing, and to provide a control method.SOLUTION: The display device includes: an imaging part for imaging a moving image within a predetermined range in an image display direction; an image analysis part which analyzes the moving image imaged by the imaging part to determine whether a viewer is a child or an adult and calculates the position of the child if the viewer is determined as a child; and a display control unit for causing, when the position of the child calculated by the image analysis part is inappropriate, a display part to perform displaying for guiding the child to an appropriate viewing position.</p> |
