<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of forming a high quality image without causing high cost, an increase in size and reduction of working efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: Patterns for detecting concentration have four rectangular patterns having different toner concentration from one another and are adjacent to one another in a principal direction and in a sub direction. A reflective optical sensor comprises: an irradiation system including eleven light emitting sections disposed along the principal direction; a light receiving system including eleven light receivers; and the like. After an m th image of a plurality of images has been formed, a printer controller performs image process control at a timing before an (m+1) th image is formed. During this time period, the printer controller simultaneously causes two light emitting sections of the reflective optical sensor to emit light and simultaneously obtains toner concentration of two rectangular patterns formed at different positions from each other with respect to the principal direction based on an output signal of the light receiving system. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
