METHOD OF VEGETATIVELY PROPAGATING YELLOW POPLAR USING GREEN WOOD SPLIT GRAFTING

The present invention relates to an asexual propagation method of yellow poplar using a green wood split grafting for a nursery tree production by split-grafting a scion that is 1-2 years old with green wood of a yellow poplar mature tree as a graft. To achieve this, the present invention comprises the steps of: forming a horizontal side by cutting yellow poplar that is 1-2 years old; forming a vertical side by vertically cutting a central part of the horizontal side by 0.5-2 cm; and grafting the green wood on the vertical side.
