PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device that automatically adjusts the angle of a display such that visibility for a rear seat occupant can always be ensured taking account of a case where a vehicle itself inclines to the horizontal surface of the earth, and to provide a display screen driving device.SOLUTION: A display device 10 comprises: a display part 16 that is attached to a front seat arranged in forward and backward directions of a vehicle so as to be viewable by a viewer in a rear seat; a driving part 14 that adjusts the inclination angle of the display part 16; a front seat inclination acquiring part 11 that acquires the inclination angle of the front seat; a vehicle inclination acquiring part 12 that acquires the inclination angle of the vehicle; and a drive control part 13 that instructs the driving part 14 to adjusts the angle of the display part 16 on the basis of the inclination angle of the front seat, acquired by the front seat inclination acquiring part 11, and the inclination angle of the vehicle, acquired by the vehicle inclination acquiring part 12. Thereby, visibility for a rear seat occupant can always be ensured. |
