PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biometric device capable of easily measuring a state of a living body such as a swallowing function of the oral cavity and fat.SOLUTION: A swallowing muscles measuring instrument 1 supplies a pair of electrodes 11a and 11b with an AC current from a power supply part 23. A voltage measurement part 24 measures a voltage between a pair of electrodes 12a and 12b, and an impedance is calculated from a relationship between the measured voltage and current. A control part 35 calculates, from the measured impedance, a state of the living body such as an index representing a state of the swallowing muscles such as lingual pressure, a state of fat, and the like. |
