PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock device and an electric steering lock device with the less number of components.SOLUTION: An electric steering lock device 20 includes: a lock bar 24 which reciprocates between a lock position and an unlock position through drive of a motor 21; a Hall element 26 which is closest to a magnet 25 mounted on the lock bar 24 when the lock bar 24 is in the unlock position; and a lock control part 16 which measures a movement time for displacement from the unlock position to an intermediate position based on a voltage change of the Hall element 26 between the unlock position and the intermediate position when the lock bar 24 moves from the unlock position to the lock position, and operates a necessary time for moving from the intermediate position to the lock position based on the movement time, and feeds the motor 21 only during the necessary time. |
