<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a downsized electric connector including a floating structure.SOLUTION: In an electric connector 1, a socket terminal 9 comprises: a movable part 11 including a first extension part extending in an insertion/ejection direction Z, a folding part continued to the first extension part and a second extension part continued to the folding part and extending in the insertion/ejection direction Z to elastically support a movable housing 8b so as to be relatively displaced from a fixed housing 8a; a base part 12 continued to the second extension part of the movable part 11; a front contact part extending from the base part 12 in the insertion/ejection direction Z and brought into contact with a plug terminal 7; and a rear contact part. A notch portion opposed to the second extension part and the folding part is formed on a side face of the base part 12, which is adjacent to the movable part 11, and the movable part 11 is arranged so as to be inserted into the inside of the notch portion. Consequently, the electric connector 1 can be downsized in a transverse direction Y.</p> |
