<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector that can prevent moisture from entering a terminal storage recessed part and easily flow moisture entering out of the terminal storage recessed part, and can be easily manufactured, simply structured and reduced in cost, easily handled though small and improved in reliability.SOLUTION: The connector comprises: a terminal that contacts a counterpart terminal of a counterpart connector; a housing to which the terminal is attached; and a retainer that prevents the terminal from being detached from the housing. The housing has a terminal storage recessed part that stores the terminal therein, which is opened to the rear end face of the housing. The retainer has a lateral frame part extended in a width direction and a locking arm that is extended forward from the front face of the lateral frame part and enters the terminal storage recessed part to lock the terminal. On the front face of the lateral frame part are formed a recessed part to which a base part of the locking arm is connected and a protruding part adjacent to the recessed part. When the retainer is attached to the housing, a gap is generated between the recessed part and the rear end face.</p> |
