PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a restart protection device and a method therefor.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a restart protection device and a method therefor. The restart protection device is fitted in electric equipment, and includes a switch module and a restart protection module. Further, the restart protection module is interposed between the switch module and a motor of the electric equipment, whereby an electric current of an external power source can avoided from directly flowing into the motor when restart of the electric equipment. Consequently, a user cannot restart the power source of the electric equipment when the user does not follow step procedures of the restart protection method. According to such a system, occurrence of an unexpected accident due to a sudden restart of the electric equipment can be effectively prevented.
