PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus that reduces the situation where a user selects undesired icons compared to before irrespective of the size and shape of and the positional relationship between a plurality of icons displayed on a display screen.SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus 1 displays a plurality of item buttons 31, which are arranged with the center coordinates and contours determined, in a display area of a display 3; determines the coordinates of an indication position in the display area on the basis of an input signal from a touch pad 4; corrects the center coordinates of the plurality of item buttons 31 to be the coordinates between the item buttons and the contours and defines the corrected coordinates as the coordinates of the correction center; and makes an item button 31, of the plurality of item buttons 31, closest to the coordinates of the indication position and the coordinates of the correction center into a selection state. |
