<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pair of pliers of the type that keeps a holding part opened by the bias, capable of making a tip side be in a closed state when not in use, without degrading the biasing force.SOLUTION: A pair of pliers 1 capable of adjusting the opening includes: a first stay 2a provided with a holding part 5a at a tip, and having a long hole 8; a second stay 2b provided with a holding part 5b at a tip, and pivotally connected to the first stay 2a by a pivotally connecting shaft 3c configured in a state of being movably fitted into the long hole 8; and a slider 6 for moving in the long hole 8, and pivotally fitted onto the pivotally connecting shaft 3c. At the time of being fixed in the long hole 8, the slider 6 is biased so that the holding part 5b of the second stay 2b opens, and the slider is pivotally fitted onto the pivotally connecting shaft 3c. The long hole 8 has an inclination allowing part 10 for allowing the inclination of the slider 6 larger than that at the time when the slider is fixed in the long hole 8.</p> |
