PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting fixture to which various kinds of functions can be easily added later.SOLUTION: A functional part (a pull switch PS) is structured so as to have portions (a pulling code 402 and a support metal fitting 403) projecting outside a cover 23. A fixture body 1 includes: a recessed part 11 where part of a light source unit 2 is housed; and a space (a hole 116) for inhibiting interference with the portions (the pulling cord 402 and the support metal fitting 403) while part of the light source unit 2 is housed in the recessed part 11. A lighting fixture (A) allows desired functional parts to be added later as reference matters because the space (the hole 116) is provided at the fixture body 1 for avoiding interference with a portion projecting outside the cover 23 of the functional part. As a result, various kinds of functions can be easily added later to the lighting fixture A.
