<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for rim cushion exhibiting large elongation at break and excellent aging resistance, and a pneumatic tire in which the rubber composition is used as the rim cushion.SOLUTION: There is provided the rubber composition which contains a rubber composition, carbon black having an iodine adsorption amount of 70 to 130 g/kg, a vulcanization accelerator and sulfur, and in which the rubber component contains a butadiene rubber and trans-polyisoprene having a trans-bond content of 90 mol% or more, the content of the butadiene rubber in the rubber component is 30 to 70 mass%, the content of the trans-polyisoprene in the rubber component is 30 to 70 mass%, the content of the carbon black is 40 to 90 pts.mass based on 100 pts.mass of the rubber component and the mass ratio (A/S) of the content of the vulcanization accelerator (A) to the content of the sulfur (S) is 0.9 to 2.0.</p> |
