PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for calculating brand popularity degree total evaluation index (Brand Power Index) which can evaluate a brand by a single total evaluation index, and a system therefor.SOLUTION: A brand diagnostic method includes the steps of: acquiring contents of media exposure of a brand name specified by a user and their amounts; acquiring contents of articles, comments and searches for the brand on the Internet and their amounts; calculating a brand exposure degree representing how much the brand is taken up by media such as television, newspapers, magazines and websites, a brand interest degree representing interests of people in the brand, and a brand topicality degree representing how much and how people make comments on the brand; calculating a brand popularity degree total evaluation index (Brand Power Index) by integrating these degrees; and evaluating the brand by the single total evaluation index (Brand Power Index). |
