PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting device and a cutting method.SOLUTION: Provided are a cutting device and a cutting method, of which the cutting device includes: cutting means comprising a cutter holder and a cutter disposed in the cutter holder; one or multiple actuators connected to the cutter holder to move the cutting means via the cutter holder; one or multiple distance detection means disposed at one side of the cutter holder in order to measure a distance to a cutting object; and processing means connected the actuators and the distance detection means respectively. When a first distance is defined as a distance between the distance detection means and one end, in the cutter, facing the cutting object, and a second distance is defined as the distance measured by the distance detection means, the processing means controls the actuators, on the basis of the first distance and the second distance, in order to carry out zero point correction relative to the cutting means. |
