PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool by which a screw can fix a milling insert with high reliability, and provide a tool having a milling insert capable of easily cutting.SOLUTION: A milling insert 2 is fitted in a scrap removal unit 3 which is detachably connected to a head 1. An individual milling insert 2 is held by use of a screw 20 and a wedge 19 which can be easily accessed, the wedge 19 acts on the milling insert 2 in a tangential direction, and in the rear of this milling insert 2, there is a sturdy tangential direction support body having a shape of a shoulder 56. By wedge-holding of the milling insert 2, the milling insert 2 can be attached and detached by a simple method, and each group of the wedge 19, the milling insert 2 and the tangential direction support body is positionally set in a tangential direction, whereby a cutting force acting on the milling insert 2 can be held with a good efficiency. |
