PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and system for determining the phase alignment between a first clock signal and second clock signal having different frequencies.SOLUTION: The method includes a step of sampling values of a first clock signal at the moments defined by the edge of a second clock signal; a step of defining the sequence of the sampled values of the first clock signal; and a step of detecting the occurrence of the pattern of a predetermined value in the defined sequence. Here, the continuous sampled values in the sequence are separated from each other by N cycles of the second clock signal, and N is an integer larger 1. |
