The present invention relates to a bed mattress having a functional edge former which can stick to a cushion member inside a bed mattress to extend life and reduce noise, prevent various viruses residing in the bed mattress and remove lingering odor, and allow a user to rest. The bed mattress according to the present invention comprises: a spring assembly body having coil springs arranged across the entire surface area of a mattress at intervals and a mesh layer mounted on lower portions and upper portions of the coil springs with the helical coils; an edge former formed in each side of the spring assembly body; cushion member layers stacked on the upper portion of the spring assembly body and on the lower portion of the spring assembly body; and a cover member layer sewed to enclose the upper and lower portions of the cushion member layers and the outside of the edge former. An anti-bacterial prevention layer (500) is formed between the spring assembly body and the cushion member layers to block corrosion and humidity and emit fragrance to the outside. The edge former (200) is divided into an upper storage unit (16) and a lower storage unit (18) by a wall inside a main body. Penetration holes (18) are formed to connect the upper and the lower storage unit to the outside. Anti-bacterial capsules (22) are included in the upper and the lower storage unit (16, 18) to prevent viruses, remove odors, and allow a user to rest. |
