The present invention provides an anti-heave device for pontoons of a semi-submersible drilling rig to reduce a heave of a drilling rig; to possibly make a more stable drilling in a marine environment with severe waves; to add a ballast tank function; and to secure a reserve buoyancy by installing the anti-heave device on an outer circumference surface of a plurality of pontoons placed on a semi-submersible drilling rig in a horizontal direction to be protruded along an outer circumference of the pontoon of the semi-submersible drilling rig by installing a number of auxiliary tanks which can contain or discharge seawater.
