The present invention relates to a top covering apparatus for a handrail post for a deck road which mounts and fixes a horizontal cover plate which covers the upper portion of a handrail post by rotation only to reduce time for mounting the horizontal cover plate when installing the handrail post, and minimizes downward sagging of connection ropes connecting handrail posts after constructing the deck road. The top covering apparatus for a handrail post covers the upper portion of each of the handrail posts fixed on both sides of the upper portion of a deck road in the longitudinal direction at intervals and connected by a connection means. The connection means comprises: a pair of rope penetration holes formed on front and rear portions of the upper portion of each handrail post; and a connection rope to penetrate the pair of rope penetration holes formed on the front and the rear portion of the upper portion of each handrail post. The top covering apparatus comprises: a horizontal cover plate to cover the upper portion of the handrail post; and a hook means protruding downwards from a lower portion of the horizontal cover plate to hook the connection rope penetrating the handrail post to fix the horizontal cover plate on the upper portion of the handrail post. |
