<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock device capable of reducing the thickness of the entire device from the in-plane direction inner side to the in-plane direction outer side of a frame to be attached and improving design, and a fitting including the lock device. <P>SOLUTION: A lock device 30 includes: a cover 61 which is attached to a door end face 23b1 of a door end frame 23b and secures a moving space with the door end frame 23b; a gear 63 which is provided such that a square shaft 42b rotated around a central axis corresponding to the operation of an operation handle 41 passes through a through-hole 63a, and is rotated together with the square shaft 42b in the moving space; and a slider 64 which is engaged with a part of teeth of the gear 63 and slid and moved in the moving space corresponding to the rotation. The slider 64 has an insertion hole 64b to which the distal end part of the square shaft 42b that passes through the gear 63 is to be inserted, and regulation pieces 62d1, 62d2 are interposed between the gear 63 and the slider 64 to regulate their contact with each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
