The present invention relates to an apparatus for manufacturing a paper box by folding cut paper and adhering an edge portion, and a method for manufacturing a paper box by using the same. The apparatus for manufacturing a paper box comprises: a lifting plate (31) in the shape of the inside of a paper box to be manufactured, which is provided at the upper portion of a stand (33) by which both ends of cut paper are held; a plurality of side plate guide rods (21) and wide plate guide rods (22) which are symmetrically provided at the lower portion of the stand (33); and a nozzle (40) to which an outlet (41) is closely adhered, provided at a joining portion formed between side plates (12) and wide plates (13) by descending of the lifting plate (31), wherein the joining portion is formed not at an edge but at a side by expanding the length of a part among parts forming four sides of a box when cutting paper, thereby allowing an adhesive ejected through the nozzle (40) to enable easy joining surface penetration. According to the present invention, a step of adhering an adhesive tape (16), which is necessarily consumed when preparing a conventional paper box, can be omitted, and thus the aesthetics of a completed paper box can be remarkably improved. |
