A display panel and manufacturing method thereof, and display device; the display panel comprises an array substrate (6), a paired box substrate (7), and an electrochromic structure (1) located on the array substrate (6) or the paired box substrate (7) and used to absorb the light of the display panel leaked when the display panel is in a dark state. When the display panel is in a light state, the electrochromic structure (1) is in a transparent state; and when the display panel is in a dark state, the electrochromic structure (1) is in a colored state, and the electrochromic structure (1) in a colored state can absorb light rays, thus decreasing the minimum brightness cause by minimizing the light leakage of the display panel in a dark state, effectively improving the contrast of the display panel. |
