METHOD AND DEVICE FOR MANUFACTURING A MONOCOQUE CONSTRUCTION IN THE FORM OF A SINGLE CONTINUOUS CASING

The invention relates to a method and a device for manufacturing a monocoque construction in the form of a single continuous casing. The casing is produced by laser build-up welding on a target with the aid of a laser working head using an electronic drawing produced beforehand. The target remains stationary, while the working head moves in the vertical plane and along the longitudinal axis. For the build-up welding, use is made of a wire of a specified profile and composition which can be fed in automatically. The build-up welding device also comprises a technological assembly and an optical fibre for feeding laser radiation into the working head. As a result, the possibility is provided of producing a construction of a complex profile, in particular the entire airframe of an aeroplane from the nose to the tail in the form of an integral multilayered metal and polymer construction without a single rivet, without welding, without an adhesive joint or connecting elements.
