PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a lithium ion secondary battery which operates with a high voltage, and has a high cycle life; and an electrolyte for nonaqueous electric power storage devices which makes possible to provide such a lithium ion secondary battery.SOLUTION: An electrolyte for nonaqueous electric power storage devices comprises: a nonaqueous solvent; a lithium salt (A); a predetermined compound; and at least one compound (B) selected from a group consisting of compounds having predetermined constitutional units.
